Hydrogen East Conference Partnership Announcement

The Atlantic Hydrogen Alliance is pleased to announce its collaboration as the Industry Partner for the 2025 Hydrogen East Conference, which will take place at the Halifax Convention Centre on April 14-15 in conjunction with Smart Energy Halifax. This collaboration highlights the growing momentum of the hydrogen economy in Atlantic Canada and our shared vision to create a sustainable, energy-forward future. Hydrogen East will bring together stakeholders to discuss strategies, innovations, and opportunities in Atlantic Canada’s emerging hydrogen sector.

While the spotlight has been on low-carbon hydrogen at Smart Energy Halifax for the past few years, the first annual Hydrogen East Conference will provide a dedicated and focused platform to explore hydrogen's potential to reduce emissions and drive economic growth in Atlantic Canada. Low-carbon hydrogen is a promising solution for reducing emissions, especially in energy sectors that are challenging to decarbonize, like heavy transportation, shipping and other marine vessels, and high-temperature industrial processes. Green Hydrogen that is exported to Western Europe can also help Atlantic Canada become a green energy powerhouse.

Several Atlantic Hydrogen Alliance members will be speaking or participating on panels at the conference.
