Port Saint John is Atlantic Canada’s largest port by volume and has a diverse cargo base, including dry and liquid bulks, break bulk and containers which together accounts for 28 million metric tonnes per year. Port Saint John also has a thriving cruise industry. 

Port Saint John is interested in playing a leadership role in decarbonization: locally, regionally, and globally. Hydrogen represents an opportunity to assist with both local and global decarbonization. Our Port is an ice free, deep water Atlantic Port offering opportunities for hydrogen producers’ globally, and right here in Saint John.
