EverWind is a Canadian renewable energy company dedicated to accelerating the global transition to clean energy through the production of green hydrogen and ammonia. EverWind CEO, Trent Vichie leads the company’s vision to establish Atlantic Canada as a global hub for clean fuel production, export, and innovation.

EverWind is developing two flagship projects: the Point Tupper Green Fuels Project in Nova Scotia and the Burin Peninsula Green Fuels Project in Newfoundland and Labrador. Together, these initiatives represent billions of dollars in private investment and will create thousands of jobs during construction and operations. The Point Tupper Green Fuels Project, which has completed Front-End Engineering Design and received full Environmental Approval, will produce approximately 240,000 tonnes of green ammonia each year using new onshore wind projects to generate renewable energy, with future phases planned to scale up production capacity and expand export volumes to global markets. The Burin Peninsula Green Fuels project will build on this foundation, leveraging one of the world’s strongest and most consistent wind resources to deliver green fuels at global scale.

EverWind is also exploring opportunities to supply clean hydrogen and ammonia for domestic use, supporting industrial decarbonization and energy security in Atlantic Canada and across the country.

The company’s work is grounded in strong partnerships and a deep commitment to shared prosperity. EverWind collaborates with Indigenous rights holders as equity partners and decision-makers, ensuring that its projects advance economic reconciliation and create long-term community benefits. These partnerships have become a model for how clean energy development can deliver inclusive growth through local employment, skills training, procurement opportunities, and community benefit agreements that invest directly in regional priorities.

Through collaboration with governments, technology leaders, and local communities, EverWind is helping Canada meet its climate goals while building new industries for the future. With its projects in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador, EverWind is positioning Atlantic Canada at the forefront of global efforts to decarbonize heavy industry, shipping, and agriculture through the adoption of green hydrogen and ammonia.
